Lost song lyrics

It's funny how songs can haunt you even when they are just a bare memory. For years I have searched for a song for which I only knew a couple of phrases. I thought, wrongly, it was Karen Carpenter, but thanks to the magic of Google and YouTube, I am saved.

It's Amoureuse and the singer is Kiki Dee. I heard it a few times on the radio about 30 years ago and here it is:
