Lining up all the toiletries on one side of the sink.

And then using them in order and lining them up on the other side of the sink.

What's that called?
PS Apparently this runs in the family. My father writes:

I've no idea what you call it, but I dare you to line them up on the righthand side and move them to the left! Do you reckon you could do that?
And, what happens if you get a basin with no cabinet or shelf? Where do you line things up then? ;-)
