The trouble with parodying the startup world

The other day my parody alter ego Brad Bradstone wrote a blog post entitled Klout is gangsta in which he detailed how he loves the respect he gets from having Klout. That entire blog is a parody that started with a post I made on Hacker News which made a lot of people laugh with the idea of 'double stealth mode'.

All fun and games.

But then comes the news that there's a dating web site called Tawkify that takes into account users' Klout scores as part of the dating game.

You (or at least I) couldn't make that up.

Sorry, Brad, you'll just have to go back to Date Night with C.
